** IMPORTANT **: Canadians need a passport to travel to the U.S. by air.
The Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) is an American endeavour
that establishes new requirements for documentation to enter the U.S.
Since January 23, 2007, a valid Canadian passport is required to enter the U.S. by air.
As of June 1, 2009, Canadians need a passport to cross the Canada-U.S. border by land or sea.
*DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE PROCESSING DELAYS INVOLVED WITH APPLYING FOR A CANADIAN PASSPORT (up to 4+ weeks),
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL CANADIAN PARTICIPANTS AND ADVISORS OBTAIN CANADIAN PASSPORTS PRIOR TO THE CANADIAN TOURNAMENT, AS THERE MAY BE INSUFFICIENT TIME TO OBTAIN A CANADIAN PASSPORT
BETWEEN THE COMPLETION OF THE 2012 WHITE & CASE CANADIAN TOURNAMENT (March 10, 2012)
AND THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE 2012 WHITE & CASE INTERNATIONAL ROUNDS (March 25, 2012).*
It is the responsibility of each Canadian Participant and Advisor to ensure that (s)he has the necessary travel documents to attend
the 2012 White & Case International Rounds.
